Good point about connections. I don't think there is necessarily a reason why we are here (but who knows, maybe there is!) but the question for me still remains, like Mark Knopfler sings in the song "Juliet": "whatchya gonna do about it?"

I think I even underestimate the value of connection. Like, just being able to read this essay and the responses creates a feeling of being less alone....confused?

What especially resonates with me here is the questioning of our "control" or lackthereof, as I've suffered through some mean bouts of dissociation as a result of feeling like that robot you mentioned. Thanks so much for sharing!
