Hi. I'm Sean O'Connor. I've been writing since 1999. I publish essays, fiction, and poetry here on Medium.

An interesting dimension to my writing, and a reason I so love to share the date I have completed a writing or revised it, is that like all people, my thoughts and feelings and authentic self expression change, evolve. What I wrote a year ago doesn't always reflect my consciousness today. But what I do have is a record of where I have been in my attempts at self expression and how I have transformed.

My writing explores love and sex from an ultimately spiritual perspective. I believe the truly erotic has to do with the convergence of polarities--yin and yang, mind and matter/mind and body, wave and particle, and thus, from a human perspective, balanced consciousness and living. This is why you will find I often incorporate themes such as energy consciousness/energy work contemplative practices (especially moving meditations Yin Yoga, Qigong, and Tantrik sex) as well as quantum physics, and law of attraction.
